Bear together with Jeep is proud to announce the ILT, Italian Longboard Tour, a real tour of the longboard culture that will be held in four locations: Catania, Pietrasanta, Oristano, Andora, where locals surf club will be head of the happenings! ITA - Sabato 30 Giugno nel Naviglio Grande di Milano si svolgerà la terza edizione di StraNavigli, una  manifestazione ludico-sportiva incentrata sul mondo dell'acqua.

Il ricco programma organizzato da Navigli Lombardi con il prezioso contributo di Bear, JEEP e Red Bull prevede tra gli innumerevoli contenuti: prove gratuite per grandi e piccini, contest amatoriali di Surf Paddling e SUP (Stand Up Paddling), la gara goliardica “Fantasy” con i gonfiabili, tuffi nel Naviglio, le immancabili Water Ball e tanto altro ancora.

Il divertimento è garantito durante tutta la giornata a partire dalle ore 10 fino alle ore 20; lungo il tratto del Naviglio Grande di Milano compreso tra l'Alzaia Naviglio Grande 4 e Vicolo dei Lavandai, sarà possibile per bambini e adulti cimentarsi in diverse discipline sportive (oltre ai già citati: canoa, canottaggio, bici d'acqua, dragonboat, motonautica etc) assistiti dagli istruttori delle rispettive Federazioni.Info e iscrizioni Bear Stranavigli Water Race e foto contest:

Greatest Surf Music event in the world, celebrates this year the 10th edition! Bigger location! Great names performing live! Bear is partner, as usual! See you there! 21-24 June, LIVORNO (IT).

As many of you already know during the night between 9 and 10 waves disappeared so the event has now a couple of Lay Days, waiting for the next swell. It's a pity because  many surfer had a chance to try some really good wave in the days prior the event (and someone also broke a board!) In the meantime life at the Bear PRO Village is going brilliantly on. All the surfers also visited Vernazza and the region hit by the floods and many medias was there to witness how the surfer from all the world are very moved by these facts.

Nella notte fra il 9 e il 10 purtroppo il mare a Levanto si è appiattito definitivamente e, dopo aver stuzzicato l'immaginazione dei Top 32 longboarder con le onde dei giorni precedenti l'eventi, si sono dichiarati alcuni lay day. Ad ogni modo le giornate 
al Bear Pro Village trascorrono tra un'iniziativa e l'altra, da notare la visita alle zone colpite dall'alluvione dove i media
presenti hanno testimoniato come i Surfer di tutto il mondo sono stati molto colpiti dagli avvenimenti.

Al via finalmente il contest che decreterà il campione mondiale di surf longboard 2011. Le previsioni meteo al momento sono molto discordanti e difficili da interpretare ma al termine di un summit con il Direttore di gara ed il Board di ASP, gli organizzatori hanno deciso di chiamare la gara per giovedì 10 Novembre.

Reset Communication, the promoters of the Bear Pro Longboard Championship 2011 presented by Jeep, in association with the Association of Surfing professionals and Area 51, would like to confirm that despite the recent floods in Eastern Liguria, Italy, the event site remains untouched and the contest will proceed as planned. The organisation has been in full swing for the past several months and the final touches are currently being put in place.

"We are all very sad about the recent floods in Italy" said Riccardo Belli, president of Reset Communications. "However, things are starting to return to normal and the competition will mark the relaunch of the area as a tourist destination". The Bear Pro presented by Jeep is supported by a variety of big name sponsors including Red Bull energy drink, Ferrari winery, Asahi Japenese beer, the Liguria Region, the Province of La Spezia, and the town of Levanto.

With a great swell forecast and a full line up of competitors including some of the best longboarders in the country, the third 'Jesus Longboard Classic' ended in style, with our new rider Ben Haworth in the 1st place! The 15th and 16th October in Polzeath, UK, the well renowed event saw over eighty competitors battling it out on the fantastic two to four feet waves, and Ben came out winning.

Bear Surfboards è leta di annunciare di aver raggiunto un accordo con ASP (Association of Surfing Professional) per essere il Title Sponsor, della finale dei mondiali di Longboard che si svolgeranno a Levanto (SP), Liguria, dal 10 al 20 novembre. E' partito il waiting period per il doppio contest organizzato da Lasciadire Surfskatesnow club di Ventimiglia. Si tratta della Finalissima del Regionale Liguria-Toscana 2011 (la prima tappa si è disputata a Chiavari- Entella Surf Classic), e il Bear Long Invitational. Queste 2 gare verranno disputate nello stesso giorno nello spot riserva naturale Le Calandre di Ventimiglia , ideale per queste due discipline.
Per il regionale short Liguria-Toscana sono attesi i più forti rider delle 2 regioni, mentre invece il contest di Longboard vedrà impegnati i migliori rider italiani. Waiting period 15 Agosto - 15 Ottobre.

Meno di un anno è passato ed è già tempo di entrare con le tavole nelle acque limpide dei Navigli per il contest Sup e Surf che ha fatto strabiliare gli occhi dei Milanesi!

L'imperdibile iniziativa coinvolgerà tutti coloro che vorranno partecipare gratuitamente alle gare di Paddling surf e di Sup sprint race che si presenteranno muniti di voglia di divertirsi e rigorosamente con la propria tavola alle ore 13.30 di Sabato 16 Luglio presso il Pontile di Alzaia Naviglio Grande (Milano)!

E' Alessio Ponta il vincitore assoluto del Probeat, il primo contest di surf indoor italiano che si è svolto sabato 9 ottobre al Villaggio Benessere Bellavita di Alessandria. Cornice della gara, il Flowrider, l'unico surf indoor in Italia, con 130 mq di onda artificiale, rivolto sia ai professionisti che ai principianti. Prestigiosi i nomi che hanno composto la giuria di gara, come Giuseppe Esposito, Campione Italiano di Kitesurf 2008 e Thomas Cravarezza, vice campione italiano, che hanno giudicato i 110 partecipanti ai contest secondo parametri basati sul livello delle tre categorie presenti: Principianti, Bodyboard e Advanced. In particolare, per la categoria Advanced gli sfidanti sono stati selezionati sulla base di talento,trick, fluidità, controllo della tavola e personalità.
